In the book of Satan Crete (de duivelswagen) told how John C. Potter ordered his own motorcycle to the manufacturer, Hildebrand und Wolfmüller, in Munich, Germany.
The bike arrived in 1893, one year before the first car arrived in this country. That makes John C. Potter became the first person in this country who use motor vehicles.
Hildebrand made motorcycles und Wolfmüller was not using the chain, not using gears, not using a magnet, not using the battery (batteries), not to use the coil, and not using electric cables.
The bike bore horizontal two-cylinder engine that uses gasoline or naphtha. It takes approximately 20 minutes to revive and stabilize the engine.

Dated May 7, 1917, Gerrit de Raadt in Reading Standard motorcycle riding a record trip from Jakarta to Surabaya in 20 hours and 45 minutes. Ten days later, May 16, 1917, Frits Sluijmers and Wim Wygchel which alternately riding a motorcycle repair Excelsior recorded a record of Gerrit de Raadt.
